I was wondering why your business does not have any type of disabled ANYTHING. No chairs, no tables not even a small stool for anyone who does not have working legs, and forget about a table upstairs, THOSE are stairs, not an escalator!
In fact the only thing I could find you do for the disabled or more like to the disabled is to clog up the sidewalk on Park Ave. During the summer, with a bunch of drunks who do not want to move out of the way of people In wheelchairs.
And THANK YOU for the trash, broken glass and vomit all over the sidewalk come Monday Morning.
Thank you so much for your disability support, (I mean REALLY, not even a chair) ; and OH WELL, for reccommending your business to any family or friends, this, coming from a 3rd generation Montanan in their later years, with hundreds of family & friends.
Also your crew needs to learn how to talk to the disabled without making them feel like they have the bubonic plague, I mean beyond the memorized, Can I get you a beer?
I turned my Growler in as I no longer want to participate in a business where it is so apparent who is targeted for conversation and who is left in the cold. If you are a good looking tall man with money and no disability, than this is the place for you, guaranteed conversation with the workers and smiles and laughs.
As the saying goes, it rolls downhill, so from Owners to the crew, the bad attitude towards the disabled flows down to the ones who always have to suffer, the disabled.
Lucky for Me, I found somewhere that treats me with respect and like a True Friend. Always.
Your Not The Only Makers Of Beer or good times.
Family and Friends, now have a place to go also, I'm just upset with myself that it took so long to see through the facade that has been created by Blackfoot.

i loved this place, maybe my favorite in the area. right downtown, a very cool space that looks huge from the outside relative to its surroundings, high peaky roofline with big windows, almost a church-like look to it from the street. big tanks visible inside behind the small bar in the back of the packed taproom, its relaxed despite being real busy, and they have an impressive list of beers on. i had time for only two unfortunately, a berry gose and a delicious oktoberfest, both quite unique and well executed, and this is a pretty diverse lineup that also includes some cask beer, props for that! lots of cool hoppy beers as well. i ended up sitting upstairs, where they have another bar, a slightly cozier feel, and an open air patio out toward the street, really cool space up here, reminds me of a university lounge or library even, chill, everyone doing their own thing, struck up an awesome conversation with a local intellectual, good times. the service was friendly, the beer was excellent, and the space is really cozy and inviting, a place i will absolutely carve out more time to be at next time through. they have a great thing going here, its a cool place to visit, i love their branding. ill be back for more!
edit: this place hits every time, snagged a pizza from next door and posted up this time, great service again, very informed, generous with samples, and stoked about it all, such a fun place to drink beer, this time a killer japanese rice lager, a cask strong ale, a fresh hop ipa, among others. rock solid quality here, a must visit if in the area.

I visited Blackfoot River yesterday and I think it's a cool place. 10 beers on tap, with a nice variety of styles. The porter was decent, but their standard IPA really worked for me. It's a relatively new buildout with a decent amount of spaced (though packed on a Friday), and service up at the bar was friendly and prompt. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Helena.

The taproom is two levels, and both levels have a bar, and there is an outdoor deck. Downstairs they appear to have a growler filling ordering system to handle the volume of people. The place is packed at happy hour time on a weekday. Good selection of beer styles - about 10 beers on tap. They have free popcorn to snack on.

Awesome little tap room right on the main drag in downtown Helena. Place was packed when I was in there on a Sunday at 5. No food served other than some free popcorn. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable and the beers are phenomenal! I had three different styles of IPA and all were fantastic well executed beers. If you find yourself in Helena this is a must stop!

There's a cool beer town in Montana and that is Helena. Did a flight and beers were good and got better as they got darker. Place was packed but not congested. Prices fair, service satisfactory considering. I would love to go back to Helena to visit this brewery and the vaunted one across town. We'll see.

Bright, friendly atmosphere and located downtown, Blackfoot River is my favorite Helena brewery. It's often crowded, but I heard they are adding on and serving pizza so I can't wait til my next visit!
Also home of some of the best beers in Montana: Blackfoot River IPA, Steamboat Lager, and Cream Ale.
