I had this beer on-tap in a taster glass at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: classic medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a pretty strong effervescence. Not bad!
Smell: nice fresh-and-fruity aroma; notes of tangerine and grapefruit are quite enticing.
Taste: very herbal, raspy hop flavor with a little bit of tropical fruitiness underneath. Bitterness is strong but comes on slow. Maybe not my very favorite, but damn good nonetheless.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a pretty decent creaminess.
Overall: a little bit raspy, but a tasty DIPA nonetheless!
