Airways says this is made with Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops. Seems unusual that a Blonde Ale would brag about hop varieties, but it makes a distinct improvement on the usual run of the litter. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood. It's called New Zealand-Style Summer Ale.

Clear amber brew with a modest cap of foam. This would be a pretty anemic Pale Ale, but it's a nice zip of actual flavor for the Blonde style. A little malty sweetness with a hit of blackberry. Pleasant dry fruity taste with a little resin in the finish. Just a faint bitter aftertaste. Quite lush and drinkable light quaff.
