Scored a growler of this one to try!
A - Pours a slightly hazy maple-amber hue. Took a few moments to start foaming up, but resulted in a single-finger, off-white head, with thin lacing.
S - Smell is of toasty caramel malts, cereal grains, and floral hops. Straight-forward, and very well done here.
T - Taste mimics the scent. Starts with a toasty caramel/almost marshmallow malt kind of flavor with hints of grains, and finishes with floral, slightly spicy balancing hop. Crisp, clean finish. Very refreshing, very good!
M - Mouthfeel is right where it should be - Not too light, not too heavy. Light-medium? Carbonation is spot on. Enough to give this beer some a crisp, clean finish, without being overwhelming in the slightest. Drinkability score is VERY high here.
O - This is a great Oktoberfest beer! One of the best locally made ones I've tried. Certainly worth grabbing a pint or growler of if you spot it! Unfortunately, distribution of this brewery's beers seems to be pretty limited. This needs to change.
