Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a nice one finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, pineapple, citrus juice. Flavor is very satisfying biscuit, with light toast malt, citrus and piney hops, finishing with citrus rind hop bitterness. Medium bodied. I waited too long to try this; I'm usually not completely satisfied with sub-5% IPAs, but this is quite good. I'd go as far to say that this has more flavor and balance than a great many standard ABV IPAs. A impressive, very nicely made session IPA that I will return to.

A: Poured a nice burnt orange color with a very light cloudiness. The beer yields a nice, medium white cap, good head retention leaving plenty of bubbles and white curtains clining to my glass.

S: The nose provides fresh oranges, grapefruits and some pine needles but mainly dominated by citrus. A little bit of toasted bread perhaps.

T: Damn amazing for such a lightweight beer! The initial taste is orange zest and grapefruit with underlying pine needles. The beer sordove opens up then and provides a long staying, moderate but yet pronounced hop bitterness. The finish is dry, a good dose of bittering hops and citrus round it out.

M: For such a light beer it is rather filling and full. Light-medium bodied, well carbonated, being medium carbonation, easy to drink, refreshing and flavorful

O: A damn fine ISA by Airways!
