Thanks to Per, shared summer of 2011, review from notes. Pour is jet black, thick light brown head. Nose is fairly roasty, light peat and a touch chalky. Some milk chocolate to balance. Taste is a bit sweeter than the nose, roast up front, notes of coffee rind, lightly chalky, milk chocolate moves into malt sweetness and berry notes, low bitterness, easy to drink, soft carbonation and full body.

A: Pours a dark brown liquid into the glass. The head is light brown, uneven and with uneven sized bubbles.
S: Smells chocolate, a bit of coffee, smoked ham and leather.
T: Tastes dark roasted malts some coffee and sweet chocolate at the end. I can also find some sourness and pleasant fruity bitterness at the end. The 9% ABV alchohol is well hidden by the hops and dark roasted malts.
M: Medium bodied with som oily texture from the alcohol. The alcohol does not burn at all. Very well balanced.
O: A nice take on the style. My guess is that this one would be even better when aged.
