On draught at the Dog and Pony, Zeus is pale bronze with a small off-white head that leaves scattered lace, a few rings early on.
Smell is malty, sweeter caramel, has an almost English vibe, with some citrus notes from the hops. Not overly hoppy at first, the lime notes open as it warms.
Taste is pretty good, more of the citrus hops, biscuit malts. Nothing revolutionary, but solid.
Mouthfeel is oily, dry, lighter.
Drinkability is fine, this is a good IPA, if not the most exciting. Nice malt flavor, robust hop flavor, not blisteringly bitter, and smooth. Well made. Like. My 3rd M.T. Head brew, they've all been well executed, if not mind-blowing.
