Bottled 11/1/17.
Pour: amber color with a one finger head that quickly dissipates with no lacing or collar. The color is attractive but otherwise unremarkable.
Nose: some fruit, some spice, even a little strawberry jello. Not good, not bad.
Taste: watery fruit, the strawberry jello thing hits home again. The spices, or something else, leave a bitter, metallic aftertaste. I get a little of the candy sugar but only in the background.
Mouthfeel: very light carbonation. Relatively light feel. Not great, not bad.
Overall: won’t but it again but it might appeal to some. The metallic aftertaste is what really turned me off. Otherwise, drinkable but remarkable.

Pours Brown. Short, foamy, off white head that Fades fast.
Smells caramel malts, raisin and hints of roast malt.
Tastes roasted malts, dark fruit, Brown Sugar, light Carmel and earthy. Followed by an odd bitterness. Finishes dry with a Piney linger. I wouldn't call this a winter warmer. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

For a winter warmer or a dark ale this is quite watery. Didn't get any appreciable smell until it warmed. Slight raisin smell and taste. Low ABV for a winter warmer. At least I got an Odd Sides glass with the package.

L: Clear brown ale with minimal head
S: mild raisin smell, bready
T: Biscuit with notes of dark fruit like raisins, caramel, malt. No hoppiness noted. A little sweet. Not a great flavor.
Feel: Worst part of the beer. Like drinking a flat coke.
O: Disappointed in what sounded like a good beer. Oddside is a great brewery and with their experimental style, there will be some misses; this is one.

Poured to tulip from bottle. Ruddy brown in color with some slight, solid off white head. Dissipates to a ring around the edges. Aroma is sweet caramel malts and dark fruits. Taste follows, with a sweet candi sugar finish that becomes more pronounced as it warms. Bread, malt, candi sugar, plum, raisin.

Looks alright, minor head that goes away quickly. Smell is a bit weird; not very strong and hard to tell what's going on. Taste is decent....oh wait, no, no, no it's not. I exclaimed "oh" on the first sip and not in a good way at all. The initial flavor isn't offensive but it quickly turns really unpleasant. I don't know what to even call the flavor. Something went very wrong. Down the drain the rest of this goes.

Pretty unique take on a winter warmer and a wecome change. Pours light brown w little Head and no lacing. The aroma is maple syrup...sweet malt and crystal sweetness that carries through the taste and mouthfeel. Almost feels over carbonated and sticky. Just too sweet and finish is a tad odd and grainy. Good but not great
