This is by far the best blonde ale I have drank in a while not only is it full of passion fruit guava and orange flavor but it is balanced smooth and easy to crush for 5.25%. It's even a bit cheaper than the Fruitsicle series which is also appreciated. Rate it poor and you just have a good fruit beer.

Not sure if Current Year's batch is different, but mine says 5.25% ABV

Very nice tropical-infused ale from a great local brewery. Nice hazy yellow-golden color with some fluffy head and lingering lacing. Smells great - orange, guava, a little vanilla and caramel. Tastes of tropical fruit - passion orange, guava, a little papaya and mango - along with malt, caramel, vanilla, grain and biscuit. Very nice tasting. Smooth mild mouthfeel and finish, good amount of carbonation. Well-balanced and a pleasure to drink.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/18/2017. Pours fairly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart orange, guava, passion fruit, melon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruit, pale malt, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart orange, guava, passion fruit, melon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of tart orange, guava, passion fruit, melon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of fruit, pale malt, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/tart/bitterness balance. Slight hop/fruit astringency lingers through the glass, but not overwhelming. Slightly increasing dryness from bitter/tartness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.25%. Overall this a nice fruited American blonde ale. All around nice robustness and balance of fruit, pale malt, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly tart/bitter finish. Very flavorful for the ABV. Great balance between fruit and malts; with balancing noble hops and solid American wheat yeast character. A nicely enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
