12oz can marked MFG 02/04/19 THEN 12:09:20 underneath it. poured heavily into my stranger things pint glass.
Appearance- a transparent golden straw color with a decent frothy off white head. leaves some decent lacing.
Aroma- earthy hops. strong biscuit malt. weird for an ipa.
Taste- like the aroma but with some strong herbal hop notes. abv is well hidden. kinda a bummer for an ipa.
Mouthfeel- medium/ light body. good carbonation. best thing of this beer.
Drinkability- not bad but would rather have many other ipa's.
Overall- this is the Amarillo edition of the diggity dank juice series with the golden label. not a fan of the Amarillo hops. I know they're the main hops used in red's rye by founders but never found them to be that good. to me this is a balanced ipa with some herbal hop notes. would rather have the mosaic dank juice.

Pours a cloudy hazy light orange color. Thick pillowy white head with excellent retention. Appearance trends solidly to a NE style IPA.
Aroma has strong notes of lemon, lemongrass, a hint of lime, apricot - subtle almost to a fault.
Taste has notes of grass, bread malts, some lemon rind, a hint of lemon, lemongrass and hay. Again the flavors are subtle and almost bland. No bitterness on the finish. Its not really juicy or dank - more just a bland grassy/hay profile.
Feel is medium bodied. Semi-dry on the finish. Mild carbonation.
This is an okay IPA - its rather bland overall.

False advertising. Diggity Dank Juice? No, it is not very dank or juicy. In fact it is no juicy at all, pretty dry actually. Some hop aromas and not much else. Taste similar. Feel is dry and watery with some hop after-bite. Highly carbonated too. Meh Dry IPA is a better name

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 1/16/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, an herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent NE IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Great balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; and pale/wheat malt backbone. Great hop showcase of El Dorado, Amarillo, Simcoe, and Denali. Not as soft on mouthfeel, and a bit more drying than expected; but still a very enjoyable offering, and great style example.
