12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/5/2018. Pours moderately hazy pinkish orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, white grape, hay, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/light acidic yeast, berries, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, white grape, hay, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness. Very mild fruity/lactic tartness and fruit tang on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy strawberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, red grape, hay, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance fruity/light acidic yeast, berries, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; and zero cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness/tangy fruit. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and lightly acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited milkshake sour! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, berries, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink; with the mildly acidic/tangy finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Nicely jammy fruit, balanced milkshake-like sweetness; and solid Brett/lacto complexity. A really enjoyable offering.
