12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/4/2019. Pours very hazy dark ruby red/pink/purple color with a 1 finger dense and rocky light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/fairly tart/tangy boysenberry, blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of berries, fruity/fairly acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/fairly tart/tangy boysenberry, blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness. Mild fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and Brett spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy berries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light peppercorn/lacto/Brett funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, fruity/fairly acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; and zero cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an awesome fruited milkshake sour! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, fruity/fairly acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Very soft and not overly lactic. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy berries, milkshake-like sweetness, and solid Brett/Lacto complexity like the rest of the series. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. One of the best ones yet.

Nice wild ale, not too sweet and not too tart, a good representative offering of this style by Odd Side Ales (a local brewery known for these types of flavor profiles). Pours an interesting muted purple color with some foamy white head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of lots of berries - blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries - along with some malt and vanilla. Taste follows the nose. There’s also a little grain and faint hoppiness in there. Smooth thin mild mouthfeel, good carbonation. Never cloyingly sweet, nice and faintly fruity and very refreshing. Well done!
