Very tasty imperial stout that was sampled on tap at Odd Side Ales. Deep black color with just a hint of head and very spotty lingering lacing. Smells of bourbon, chocolate and some roast coffee. Tastes of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, cream, bourbon, wood and malt. Very smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel. Just the right amount of carbonation. Can’t say I taste the marshmallow (as per the beer menu’s description of the beer) but this is a fantastic stout nonetheless with a very well-hidden high ABV. Well done!
