12 ounce can, stamp says MFG on 03/26/19. Another brew from Brutaltruth and Darlene, thanks! Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about a half inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice but subtle, the brew smells like mango, white/green grapes, citrus peel, bready malt and grassy hops. Taste pretty much follows the aroma but it's stronger, and there's also some honeydew melon, herbal hop and pine flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth with a moderate amount of soft carbonation. Good amount of dryness, overall I liked this brew the longer I drank it. Worth a try if you come across some, and I would like to try this one fresher in the future!

Light dry and refreshing but a bit boring. Hardly any smell and on draft came with little head. I like more flavor and this just has a little grassy bitterness, not much else. I like double IPAs so this doesn't do it for me but is not bad on a hot day.

From a 12 oz can in a snifter. This interesting little ale pours a
bright amber tinged straw color with a nice head of white foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and shows off some
nice lacing. Nose of pineapple, white grapes, mango, herbal hops,
and light pine notes with a sweet honey note. Flavors follow the
nose with a sweet honey and pineapple flavor with white grape, mango,
and herbal hops with a touch of pine. Excellent mouth feel; medium
light body, smooth, medium light carbonation, and a dry moderately
clean finish.

Overall, a SOLID brew from a pretty good brewery

Cheers

Nose is kind of odd. Very beerish and the initial smell is not describable. Taste is bready and “aged”. Not sure I’m a fan, but will have again and update.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/4/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, lime, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, tangerine, red grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is an excellent imperial brut IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Feels like Nelson Sauvin/Simcoe. Very vibrant, and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected.
