Collaboration with HopBuds
It started over cosmic bowling and drinking dank juices til sunrise. The juicy resinous hops oozed out of our heads as we began to conceive what we believed to be the perfect pale ale. At the end of it all, after the wheat stashin', oat packin', and triple dry hoppin' our lives away, we realized all we really wanted was a crispy lil number packed with some dank. That simple. Somethin' easy and crushable. Sit back and crack open a krispy boi and just take life in.

Pours a mostly hazy golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Has a very light aroma. Maybe some grapefruit and lemon with very little piney resin. Decent taste. Lemon with mild grapefruit. Mild piney resin. There is a citrus rind bitterness at the end. It has some dankness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 5/23/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.75%. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not aggressive. Very flavorful for the ABV. Feels like Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
