Canned 7/15/19; drank 8/11/19 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy purple / pink appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big pink head; strong, frothy lace.
Blueberry, raspberry, honeyed wheat & faint tart lime notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild tart lime & mild blueberry flavors up front; honeyed wheat & faint raspberry notes on the finish. The nose promised fruit beer bliss, but the flavor was strangely muted. Too bad!

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/3/2019. Pours very hazy deep ruby red/pink/purple color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy pink head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge juicy/tart/tangy blueberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lime, citrus peel/zest, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of blueberry, raspberry, lime, fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy blueberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lime, citrus peel/zest, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, and biscuit dough; with lighter notes of peppercorn, musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and Brett spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy blueberry, raspberry, fruit skin/seed, lime, citrus peel/zest, orange, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of blueberry, raspberry, lime, fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a with an awesome malt/tartness, tangy fruit, and spiciness balance; with no cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an incredible fruited milkshake sour! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of blueberry, raspberry, lime, fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; amazingly soft feel and mellowly lactic. Amazing balance between super juicy/jammy fruit, and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a great rich lactose, and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Light residual sweetness with lingering acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Not as amazing as the Double Boysenberry Blackberry Black Currant version, but really close. This one is definitely softer/silkier.
