On draft at Lunar Brewing. 10oz snifter of maple brown goodness boasting a 1/4" cap of tight tan bubbles leaving artistic, spotted lacing.
Aroma seems muted at serving temp, however warmth opens up the nuts, cinnamon, vanilla, and oak.
Flavors match led by the bourbon notes swirling around nutty goodness.
Creamy and full feel with a sticky, nutty remainder.
Overall a very nice beer, and a pleasure to find in the wild.

Had on tap. Shimmering brownish black with a brown ring. Roasted nuts are present in the smell, but meld into the bourbon, chocolate fudge and vanilla in the underlying stout. Taste is much the same, only the nuts are not just roasted, I get marzipan from the almond, macadamia nut cookies from the macadamia nut, and slight caramel praline from the pecan. Cashews are there too. Barrel really accents these flavors well, however as the beer warms there is a little more separation between the layers. Feel is boozy more than it is nutty, roasted or creamy, though all there. The wife like it
