Two 12 oz. cans poured into a clear glass liter mug shows a solid straw colored brew with ample carbonation, little short-lived head and some glass lacing. What aroma there is brings the hint of dank hops. The taste is not what the smell, nor NEIPA designation would suggest. It drinks more like a DDHIPA, with a bitter piney finish concluding a pleasant malt introduction. Smooth for a Double Dry Hopped IPA, but not for a New England IPA. Simcoe Hop lovers rejoice, here it is.

Pours a very cloudy golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Somewhat juicy citrus aroma. Some lemon acidity. Mild piney resin and slight dankness if you sniff very well. Decent taste. Lemony with some piney resin and slight dankness at the end. Light to medium bodied with moderate to heavy carbonation.
