12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, hazy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, resin and some toasted bread. Sweet tropical fruit juice with toasted caramel and a sharp bitterness.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had fresh floral, citrus and hemp hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with fresh subtle floral and citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of oranges, little else. Taste is oranges, light grapefruit, a touch of lemons. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall it ain't bad, but judging from the name, I was expecting a dank beer, this failed to deliver.

The Original Dank Juice brewed by DDH Odd Side Ales, with an ABV of 6.50% This New England IPA pours out of a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. The color is a hazy cloudy amber color with a nice white head on top. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with hop bitterness mixed earthly grains an malts. You also pick up on mirror citrus notes in the smell as well. So far, The Original Dank Juice is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. Lots of earthy grains an malts at first, them a nice rich amount of hop bitterness in the middle. The mild citrus notes tie everything together. The body of The Original Dank Juice is a solid medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. It is really hard to pick up on the 6.50% ABV in this brew, it is just that smooth. This brew would definitely go nice with lunch or dinner. This is one of the more milder IPA's on the market, not saying that is a bad thing. The mildness is what makes this an enjoyable IPA. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Hoppy, Clean, Smooth an Refreshing. Overall I am going to give The Original Dank Juice a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity too. DDH Odd Side Ales did a super nice job with this New England Style IPA.

Look: Somewhat hazy straw color with plenty of foamy head though it dissipates quickly. Visible carbonation, minimal lacing
Smell: Tropical fruits, orange, pineapple and grapefruit
Taste: Some sweetness on the tip of the tongue, mostly bitter and a little sour across the palate, bitter on the back end.
Flavor: The fruit flavor is on the dry side. Though there is sweetness present on the tip of the tongue it isn’t present throughout the tasting. Lemon sourness combines with the bitterness to create the main part of the flavor profile.
Feel: Medium mouthfeel, soft carbonation, dry finish
Overall: A good beer, better than a lot of beers. Not a great beer there a lot of beers that I like better. I would drink it again but there enough beers that I like more to make it unlikely. Definitely not a dank beer, if you are looking for a weed beer this isn't it.

Description: Light straw color with half a finger of white head. Somewhat cloudy but not entirely. Smell is dank, with notes of melon, floral and tropical fruit. Not bitter. Taste follows the smell but decidedly less dankness and noticeable bitterness on the end but not overwhelmingly so. Feel is light with a dry finish and med/high carbonation.
Overall: 4 (This beer is good and I may or may not drink it again) This is a good IPA, but wasn't overly dank. I want my 'dank' beers to smell like a bag of weed. In any event, it's well crafted and the flavors that were present were nicely balanced.
