Bottle from Canarias Brew Las Ramblas, served at home in a snifter glass.
Deep brown , almost black color, small beige head with short retention, just a line of lacing.
Aroma of chocolate, red wine, coffee, red fruits, prunes, molasses.
Full body, astringent flavour, sour finish. Flat carbonation.
Taste of red wine, coffee, chocolate, red fruits, molasses, prunes.
Great, though I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Pours deep brown with red back tints with a pillow of beige head. Nose is chocolate, cherries, molasses, coffee. Layers of robust coffee, malts, smokey, figs, cherries. Wine doesn't pull in until the back end, but leaves and off lingering unbalanced and bitter finish. This unique beer is worth a try, but only once for me.

October 2020 Review
12ox bottle purchased at Barrels & Vines. Poured into a tulip glass.
Look: super dark, maybe a hint of red...Big dark tan head with huge lacing, thick ring and lots of clouds. Really attractive. 4.75
Smell: red wine, hints of chocolate, deep roast coffee, but very subtle hints. 3.0
Taste: definite red wine upfront, pretty dry, dark chocolate, slight coffee or hops bitterness, deep roast but bready malt, more wine through. Pretty interesting but maybe a bit heavy on the wine. Enjoyable though. 3.75
Feel: pretty full, low carbonation, dry wine but some lingering sourness taste/feel. 3.75
Overall: if the wine taste were dialed back a touch this would be more interesting. But, still unique and enjoyable. Would probably buy again although may not seek it out. 3.75
