Might as well call it a Citra Pale ale.
Any Kölsch characteristics are lost in the sea of hops.
Overall, not a bad tasting beer, but a horrible Kölsch style beer.
Can't taste the malt behind the aggressive Citra hops.
The perfume of the Kölsch yeast is non-existent.
I will stick to normal Kölsch in the future. Bought a can of this because it was cheap and different.

Oddly near transparent for a beer with this much color. It's from a tap and it's a shiny brass amber. There's a bit of a white head atop, inside the clear pint glass. Although not pronounced, the aroma brings hints of both malt and hops. The head endures and the glass lacing is nice, but this one drinks flatly. A shame because it distracts from a well balanced beer taste. There's plenty of malt for body and just a little sweetness. The hops are just bittering enough and make for a dry finish. Drinkable, but there are better Kolsches out there.
Personal P. S. After having one in Olde City Philadelphia, it was also spotted on tap in Center City. That version was much more effervescent, so the mouthfeel was improved to the current ratings
