Another good stout; but the banana did not work for me.

The look is dark, with a slight lacy foam that fades quickly . Aromas of banana, chocolate and vanilla luring one with great hope and anticipation. The first sip and the second delivers great taste with a robust flavor of banana, chocolate, followed by coffee and a strong nutty finish. Overall a delicious drink that is worth savoring and you just want more.

Pours deep black with minimal head and lacing.
Huge aroma of bananas immediately with caramel, chocolate, and vanilla underneath.
The taste is strongly banana and chocolate with a very nutty, smoky finish.
The mouthfeel is low/med carbonation and thickness.
Overall, very enjoyable and different. Really good banana flavors.

Had on tap. Standard black body with a tan ring. Basically for the smell and taste take the orignal hazel's nuts but add light candied banana and more chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut still reign supreme though. It works but not as clean in flavoring as original, barrel is more covered up. Feel is well done how it doesn't cloy despite all the sweet adjuncts, still sugary but smooth, warmth and booze is limited as our defined textures

Pours an oily, pitch black. No head or lacing, just a thin caramel colored island that recovers well from each sip and maintains through the duration of the drink. Aroma is chocolate, banana, vanilla, and light toasted oak barrel notes. Taste is very exceptional. Starts creamy, milk chocolate, then the ripe banana comes through; not artificial or cloying at all. Finishes vanilla, maybe maple, burnt barrel. Feel is thick, oily, mouth coating. Carb is perfect for this beer. I loved it.
