To celebrate our 14th anniversary, we created this Limited addition imperial stout. It was aged in whiskey, barrels for 12 months with strawberries and vanilla cream flavor.

Wasn't really sure with the strawberry cream. Liked it more than I expected to. Base stout is really good but can't really say the strawberry cream enhances the beer.

Pours an effervescent mahogany/ebony with one finger of tan head. Some head retention & lacing, very viscous
S: Strawberries as soon as the can is cracked, some dark fruit as well, a little vanilla once warm, fades a little down the stretch
T: Strawberry & dark chocolate up front, a woody hops, & barrel notes up front. Vanilla, strawberries ( sweet ) & chocolate as this beer warms up, just a kiss of barrel. Finishes with a little dryness, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry & a kiss of Whisky
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
Liked this way more than I thought I would, like a boozy cream chocolate

From a 12oz can.
This beer pours pitch black in color. The head was tan in color and it had decent retention considering the ABV. There is no lacing on the glass.
Aroma is wow. Just an amazing mix of strawberries, chocolate, and lactose. Damn pleasing.
Taste - is delicious. I get all three flavors mentioned in the aroma here: chocolate, strawberry, and lactose. These 3 flavors just hit hard, and mix together great. There is more strawberry than the other 2,but all well represented.
Thick, smooth and creamy body. I am just getting the slightest burn in here. Way less than the ABV suggested.
Damn delicious treat. Very well made beer from this brewery.
