Poured from a 64oz growler into a 20oz imperial pint.
A: Pours a dark cola brown with 4 fingers of bubbly, light brown foam. The head quickly died off and left a body that was suprisingly lifeless. I know this had plenty of carbonation because when I got it home the beer was slowly seeping past the cap and electrical tape seal. Odd that it ended up being so still.
S: Nice aromas of burnt malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, and almond oil.
T: Sort of like above with a lot more emphasis on the chocolate. Quite fudgy and brownie-like. Not too much in the nut department.
M: Slick and smooth with a surprising amount of bite considering how still it is.
O: I was really hoping for more nuttiness but I settled for the rich chocolatey notes.
