This is a decent strong beer, barely darker than dark gold, pale copper with medium off-white head soon thinning to thin ring.
Aroma is fairly nice, very malty but fairly one-dimensional with caramelly toasty but also musty bread, faint tea candy and earth.
Taste is sweet dried fruits, raisiny alcohol, hint of sweet wet bread, little or no discernible hop character, simple and fairly one-dimensional. Feel is fairly nice, slightly oily-creamy.

Bottle pour at the BevMo Holiday Beerfest held at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, caramel, and some dark fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with a fruity finish. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is pretty fruity in the smell and taste.

330 ML brown glass bottle from a 4 pack.
Chill hazed amber brown colored ale with a medium sized off-white colored head.
Smells sweet and spicy with a strong apple scent. Spicy enough to tickle the nose and possibly some ginger in here. Fair amount of ethanol smell in this one, mostly it carries the scent of Pear.
Starts out sweet and spicy with a fruit flavor of Apple Butter. Brown sugar and apple dominate the flavor. That pretty much describes the flavor.
Mouthfeel is good.
High drinkability. Pleasant Belgian style ale that is somewhere in the middle of the scale from world class to fit to kill snails.

Poured with a large, foamy, frothy, cream colored head that lasts a long time and lots of lace. Color is a clear amber with a couple of large bubble trails. Aroma is bubble gum, bananas, caramel, yeast. Flavor is like the nose and underplayed, which is nice for a change. Body is good; ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor and super easy to drink. Bravo to the brewers!

The bottle looks very sophisticated. It has an elegant look, and the cap is wrapped tight underneath whatver material is holding it down. And the beer itself? Well, on to the beer:
"Milan's Gold" doesn't look like like gold, literaly speaking. Shine a light through it and you get cough medicine orange, with a small, but persistent head and good creamy retention. The aroma is low on firepower despite the ABV level, but there is just enough to make me believe I'm drinking a Belgian. Plums are most distinguishable from the rest of the field, which includeds sprinkles of nutmeg, and baking spices. Alcohol also makes a guest appearance.
There's alcohol, but only a little reminiscence of a Belgian style in this beer. Sweet doughy bread and spicy hops are the first notes I get as the beer crosses into my mouth. Dark fruit flavors are weak, candi sugar sweetness adds a little something, easy on the spice notes, light bodied when I'm expecting something meatier, decent enough to get down.
I want to like this beer a lot given 1) it's Italian, and 2) I paid $10.99 for the 750 ml bottle. Not bad at all, but I was hoping for more. If this is "Milan's Gold", then I'm not interested what its silver and bronze are like.

Pours a golden orange with a pleasant 1/2 inch white head.
Touches of yeasty notes in the nose with a pleasant sweetness.
Promising.
Mellow, sweet fruit characteristics. Juicy. Touches of candi sugar. Minimal alcohol presence. Not much complexity. Low carbonation - lends to this beer's juicy character but otherwise exemplifies its lack of complexity.
Overall, not bad. Enjoyable, but lacking compared to the traditional examples of the style.
