Light fizzy head fades fairly quickly, touch of foamy lacing, mostly clear amber rosy color.
Nose brings a definite smoke, not a strong one like a mild soft woody smoke with a little earthy wood thing to it, a strange fruitiness, sweet caramel malt.
Taste is pretty bleh, definite smoke, and an unpleasant smoke like an old BBQ sauce that added too much icky bitter smoke, with fruity burnt apple, and other icky fruits, as well as more vegetal BBQ sauce, caramel malts, little sweetness, little yeasty note too like it fermented too much in the bottle. Sticky finish, messy, more vegetal BBQ sauce and icky smoke.
Mouth is med bod but syrupy and messy, and way too much distracting carbonation.
overall a sad beer, as usual with Nashoba.
