I feel this bier falls more into the the "American Wheat, Light" category, as opposed to a Berliner, and I rated it as such... Had a slightly cloudy, dark golden color to it. Head was a full 2" at the outset, then slowly ebbed down to a fine, 1/4" layer. Lacing was minimal at most. Nose had a big wheaty lean to it, with some citrussy notes to boot. Body pulled into town on the medium train, and the feel on the tongue was a bit prickly. The bier is a bit light in character, with the wheat playing a big part in the flavor. Finish is low on hops, but has a definite lemony character. Not too bad, overall. thnx to JohnnyP for the sample! Prosit!
