A slightly more complex malt bill lends a subtle caramel, not sweet, malt profile to an assault of hops. Using three of the most aromatic hops on the market, a mix of tropical fruit, citrus, and pine dominate the nose on this balanced quarterly release.

Draft at the Yardarm. Bright orange/golden, fine carbonation, small , lasting tight white head. Aroma is earthy hops and citrus. Taste gets a bit more dank, earthy, eith a sharp bite at the finish. Earlier Rating: 4/26/2018 Total Score: 3.5 Draft at BitterCreek. Bright orange golden pour, small skin of head. Aroma is malty and hoppy, equally split. Hop variety leans the traditional NEIPA style. Taste brings in more of the hops, slightly sticky, coats the palate. Caramel, toffee, the usual suspects.

12/27/19...pours clear copper with hefty white foam. Fruity nose, peach mostly. Sharp fruit bitter open. Prickly. Oddly blended bitter. Oof. Not working for me, kind of a mess.

Welcome back to my What "New" Beers Have We Here Sunday (Week 750)? They're all new, plus there is a developing theme, as usual. At this point, we CANtinue on The CANQuest (tm) to see what's rilly new & rilly good.
From the CAN: "Tasting Notes: Fresh Melon, Georgia Peach, Super Clean".
Man, I am going super clean, having eschewed meat for the last ten days or so. I am reCANvering from recent surgery & I am not really supposed to be drinking alcohol. No restrictions on meat, amazingly, but I am happy to give up one in favor of the other. I even have a peach to enjoy with this beer!
I split y peach, removed the pit, placed it into my CANpost CANllection bag & Crack!ed open the vent. I could not envision any reason not to utilize a heavy-handed C-Line Glug & so that is exactly what I did! I was rewarded with the formation of just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with very good retention, leaving me loads of lacing in return. Color was a solid Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with NE-quality clarity. I really liked the earthiness of the malt(s) on the nose! They mentioned caramel on their website, but it didn't smell like it. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but on the approach. The taste was more melon than peach so I bit into my peach to help the cause. I know that such is not really the way to do things, but since they mentioned it in their descriptors & I had fruit at the ready, I CANnot feel too apologetic. I actually have NO CANpunction about putting fresh fruit in my alcoholic beverages, especially not after the tres amusing Blueberry Wheat at BOS Beer Works with the bouncy blueberries turning it into a cheap lava-like lamp. I though that the fresh peach did really well with this beer & enhanced its inherent peachiness. Mmm. Finish was dry & nicely fruity without being overly sweet. I CAN see drinking this out of my Summer beach-bound cooler.

Clear dark orange amber with plenty of foam in the snifter. Interesting scent of fruitcake. Weirdly candy-like, hop candy. Sweet and woody, like a DIPA gone awry. But plenty bitter aftertaste. There is nothing to recommend this, somehow the peculiarity of flavors fail to entice more than a few sips. From the 12 oz can purchased at Barons Market.

A - Amber color, lots of particles, foamy 2 finger head.
S - Sweet. Malty, melon and hops
T - Piney hop flavors, subtle notes of melon and peach as advertised. Interesting take on an IPA.
M - Lightly carbonated, dry, crisp feel with lingering sweetness. Very drinkable.
O - Great beer all-in-all for a random find. Would certainly have again if presented.
