this beer is brutally underrated here, its an excellent blonde ale, super light and summery, clean on the fermentation side and with enough grain character to not be boring in its simplicity, i get that its not overly exciting or anything, but its very well made, which always seems to be the case with mother earth beers in my experience. i could drink a dozen of these and not get tired of it, which is rare in the style, especially with such a minimal hop profile. its got a little bit of a pils malt type crackery taste, but also a more drawn out, softer pale malt layer, and is crisp almost like a lager to me, a very complete fermentation, refreshing, with the lightest citrus note that comes on late. body is incredibly light but there is enough carbonation that its not watery at all, an almost sparkling feeling, and it holds well even if i take my time drinking a pint. not sure why this hasnt been reviewed more favorably, i think it has a lot going for it and is definitely superior to other blonde ale types we have available here locally. an easy summer ripper, especially after some bigger and more hoppy beers on the palate. way better than its ratings here.

On tap at the Nampa taproom, RBSG bus tour stop. Light golden body with a tinge of orange, small foamy head. Light grain aroma, bread, some fruity notes. Taste too reflects the nice grain bill, some more citrus elements. Right in the wheelhouse for a blonde.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. the appearance is a bright clear gold color with a large white head. The aroma is lemons. The taste is lemon zest with an unfortunate burnt rubber after taste.
