Recently bottled. Pours dark almost black (from Tavour purchased bomber) with finger head that dissipates rather quickly.
Sweet fruit nose, bourbon takes back seat . Fairly thick mouthfeel. Taste is dark chocolate with medium to large roasted malt base, bourbon more pronounced on palate but still second fiddle to the fruit and malt. The raspberry finish is verrrrry long and pleasant w/ chocolate/bourbon echo. Raspberry is legit and not medicinal or artificial . Fabulous desert IS. Will be Interesting to cellar and try later this year.

On draft at Anchor Bar in Twin Falls ID for tap takeover; this beer was made for GABF. A thick pouring stout with scents of raspberry popping through the bourbon. Flavors are like a dark chocolate cordial, with a boozy finish. A hearty beer.
