2018 bottling cracked and shared at Thanksgiving, what a pleasant surprise! Dark body with minimal head and lacing as expected, still some carbonation present. Don't know what the base of this beer is, what kind of barrels were used, or the adjuncts, but its still a winner in my opinion and must have been awesome at bottling. Coffee, chocolate, rich sweetness, roasty, full-bodied, coating mouthfeel, spices and cinnamon. Really fun!

Picked this beer up blind (never heard of the brewery or the beer) because it is a 12.5 ABV Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout costing $6.99 for a 22 OZ bottle. What could go wrong.
1 appearance , Just the way one would except an Imperial Stout, jet black with a thick tan head that lasts and laces
2 aroma Bourbon front and center and powerful
3 mostly Bourbon and malt, this beer is brewed with some coffee and cinnamon something I don't care for (if this bottle was 12/13 bucks I would have passed) they are both there but not strong except for in the finish where the cinnamon lingers,
4 mouthfeel full as one should expect
5 Overall An excellent BBA Imperial Stout. Well worth more than $6.99 for a 22OZ bottle. I think I am got lucky and found a mispriced brew.
