Grunt fill from Albertsons. Nothing too fancy here, just a simple straightforward amber ale. Medium amber, clear, small foamy head. Toasted malts and caramel for the aroma. Taste is more caramel, gentle sweetness. Nice body and feel. All around tasty.

really light and sessionable here, even for the style, its not real malty, and its definitely on the dry side and with a lighter body than a lot of these have, a little boring, but fresh and drinkable, hard to complain, plus, its rare that an amber ale is going to do much more for me than wetting the whistle. paler amber in color with a frothy tan head from the tap, a mildly toasted aroma backed up by a little english grain element, bready to me, but fast and simple when i taste it, trace of honey and almonds and fall leaves when i try to make it interesting, but this one is mighty straightforward. honestly, i like the lighter and drier feel, its bubbly and minimal and clean as the style goes, and it makes itself more of a pint beer because of that. certainly not the most interesting beer ive had from these guys, especially lately where everything they make seems so inspired and good, but in a style like this, there isnt a whole lot more i would ask for, especially with the impending warm weather...
