16 oz can from Hops and Bottles. Hazy orange golden, small tight cap of head. Light malty aroma with some hop presence. Taste turns it over to citrus peel, orange, grapefruit, and like Indiana Red noted, a hint of mint.

$ 3.00 (Including tax)/16 oz can ($0.188/oz) from Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA. Reviewed 10/21/19.
Stamped on bottom of can “Genesis 06/12/19”. In reefer at store, stored upside down and served at 42 degrees.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Light yellow, hazy.
Body – Dirty yellow, murky, precipitate.
Head – Large (Maximum six cm, aggressive center pour), off-white, high density with rocks, average duration, diminishing to a six to ten mm crown with a thick complete cap.
Lacing – Excellent. Irregular wide three-dimensional band of extremely tiny to small bubbles, connected to the next band by thin columns.
Aroma – 4 – Initially a burst of pineapple. This fades into an earthy smell with some herbaceous tea-like aromas.
Flavor – 3.5 – Begins mildly bitter with a generic fruit flavor. Ends less fruity and more bitter. No alcohol (7.5% ABV) flavor or aroma, no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 4– Medium, creamy, soft carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.5. While decent looking and smelling, the flavor is very average, except for the notes of tea which I don’t believe I’ve ever found in any style IPA. As it warms, the tea-notes leave. Overall, not bad and the price point is correct.

Just slightly hazy yellow with plenty of foam in the Frydenlund half-litre. SMooth and mellow taste with delicious fruit. Aroma of mango and orange. Tangy but not overly acidic. Just a slight bitter aftertaste. The hops seem to be everywhere but it just tastes like fruit. Pineapple and papaya notes linger. Juicy and just nicely sharp at the finish.
This is quite delicious and a credit to its category. From the 16 oz can brewed by Mother Earth in Nampa, ID. Date on the bottom is 06/12/19. Purchased at Barons Market in San Diego.

done in collaboration with fremont, this is super good. one of the hops they use in here is called african queen, which i dont think i know anything about. the hop profile is certainly unique in this only moderately hazy pale orange brew, looks awesome from the tap, a little lighter and a little more bright than a lot of these look. it smells incredible, smashed up ripe mango, sweet tangerine, a hint of bee pollen and cut flowers, and a big sticky weedy element as well, mouthwatering in a way that the hazy ones rarely are for me, only the best of the best do this. the hop flavor is just as good, and in the absence of much balancing malt, really seems to stand out. maybe just pale barley and a little wheat underneath. more orange, but like marmalade this time, elderflower syrup, mango again, papaya, and pink starburst candy. its really fantastic, and there is absolutely no hop burn on this at all, so many of these are green and bitter and taste like vegetables at the end, but this is really clean for the style, wonderfully well refined. it drinks super light for its strength too, no alcohol shows up at all, its dry and light bodied, effervescent, and without the weight that usually comes with heavily dry hopped hazy beer, i could get real turnt up on this way too easily. i loved it, the standout from a great day of beer drinking. i think mother earth makes this, but the fremont influence here seems obvious to me. dont miss this one while its around, its killer!
