A slightly different take on a NE with this one. Worth a shot as it’s a solid beer and somewhat out of the ordinary, but if I never have it again I’ll live.

16oz can poured in to a nonic glass. Can is dated 02/25/20
Look- Slightly hazy golden amber color. Modest off-white head that recedes slowly to a thin cap of foam, solid lacing. Moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Bright citrus (orange, grapefruit and lemon), pineapple, peach/nectarine, light berries, grape and melon, bready malt, faint pine and floral/grassy hop notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, citrus, nectarine and melon, a bit of peach and berry, green grape skin, light pine, lingering faint bitter finish . Well balanced.
Feel- Medium/light bodied, on the sweeter side but somewhat crisp. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.
O- A pretty solid west coast take on a NE hazy. Worth a shot.

16oz can poured into an IPA nonic.
A: Fairly hazy gold, with a nice rocky white head and lacing.
S: Juicy, floral, and fruity; tropical mango, papaya, stone fruit, citrus whip, pine, and generic red berries.
T: More of the same, nice tropical orange/tangerine with an impression of cool whip in a subtle dose of vanilla and coconut...light piney bitterness and earthiness...grapefruit pith too maybe? Hints of pineapple, lime, and even some green grape.
MF: Creamy and smooth body, on point for a sub 7% beer.
O: A 'local' hazy that does really well on my palate, nice to see some different offerings from 'locals' that aren't just terrible. This is a good-to-very-good hazy IPA. The flavors and aromas offer lots of different notes, but it still drinks and feels like a single IPA; soft body and soft impressions of fruitiness with just a faint 'kick' from the hops.

16 oz can from Boise Co-OP. Hazy, pale golden, small tight creamy head. Aroma features light citrus notes. Taste brings in some bready malts along with a bitter backplane thats half citrus peel and half sharp hoppiness. Almost fruity. Seemingly light, then POW!
