12oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour with a small foamy head. Grainy, malty aroma. Taste continues the malts, sweet, light corn, full mouthfeel, oily.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Boise, Idaho location as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head which left a spotty lace. The beer was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

a tasty and drinkable new golden ale from these guys, who have been putting out a lot of solid new ones of late, much appreciated! this is a nice drinker, a rather clear and frothy white headed brew, sunny in tone and high shine, lots of bubbles coming up to join in head, a nice looking pint. in a lot of ways this is a hard style to get too stoked up about, but lately i have been keen for drinking beers, like consuming in volume, and there really arent enough good local options for that, so i hope to see this stick around, the twelve packs make sense for a beer like this too, good call on that. the aroma and flavor are fairly mild, there is an ever so faintly present yeast element here which keeps this just a tad more interesting than most of its peers, a high tone thing, short of being estery or anything, and it works with the little bit of hops that rise up on the back end of this. mostly though, its just pale malt, clean and fresh, flavorful on the grain side but dry to finish, even refreshing with all the bubbles, somewhat more substantial than the classic blonde ale, hence the golden ale name, i know we use the terms synonymously, but i think golden ale allows room for a little more malt heft, which we have here despite this still being light and bright. simple beer, but not boring, and there is a difference. ill be drinking plenty more of these, well done, and a nice addition to their lineup, i hope its permanent.
