On tap at Mother Earth. A Northern German Altbier.
A: Dark amber with a frothy beige head. Good retention and some lacing. Perfect clarity.
S: Grainy and bready malt. A restrained noble hop bouquet. No esters, diacetyl, or alcohol, very clean.
T: Lower moderate bitterness with an ephemerally sweet biscuity malt profile and a touch of caramel. The finish is dry and clean with a trailing bitterness.
M: Lower medium in body with upper moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is smooth.
Overall: A very well done North German Alt. Good stuff.
