Had this on tap at Mother Earth on 4/02/2011
A: Served in a 8 oz. taster glass, the beer pours a bright clear straw yellow. A white head rose about an inch, retained well, and slowly settled, leaving some lacing on the glass.
S: Grassy hops are slightly prominent, but not extreme followed by faint sweet malts. Also get hints of fresh wheat or hay.
T: Well balanced between the soft malts and a low to medium hop bitterness. Small mineral flavor in the middle, with a finish that was somewhat dry, but a little sweetness lingered on the palate.
M: Light and crisp, even fixture of semi sweetness to dry.
Overall: A very good Kolsh. Probably the best we had of their beers for the afternoon.

On tap at Mother Earth.
A: Pale yellow and transparent with a pillowy white head. Good retention and nice lacing. Good color.
S: Pretty clean aroma with a decided though light sulfur note. Saaz impart slightly spicy and grassy notes. Light mineral element. There's an ephemeral touch of wheat.
T: Soft malt with a moderate noble hop character. Clean, no evident fruity esters. Lower bitterness with faint sulfur and a touch of mineral character.
M: Light in body with a lower level of high carbonation. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry.
Overall: A well done Kölsch. Enjoyable and damn drinkable.
