On tap at Mother Earth Brew Co. in Vista, CA.
Pours a murky apple cider color with a beige head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace slowly slide into the remaining on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, bubblegum, and banana. Taste is of the same but is pretty subtle overall. This beer has a light level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good hefeweizen but the taste is very subtle.

Sampled 5/28/2011 at the brewery.
Pours hazy yellow, soft white head, some lacing, not much retention (if any).
Aroma is lots of banana and unfermented malt but also has a touch of black pepper and lemon in the background.
Flavor has a bit more lemon than the aroma lets on, which would put this slightly closer to the American Pale Wheat category. Aside from lemon the flavor has plenty of banana, a bit of pepper, something that reminds me of a Belgian pale, and a bit of tartness. It's like an APWA made with a saison yeast, or soemthing like that.
Body is medium, drinkable because it's inoffensive but I don't enjoy it.
