The haze did not disappoint; I found the first sip to be slightly off-putting because it was a lot more than I was expecting to process, but the more I sip it, the more satisfying it becomes. It was the pineapple note that initially threw me off, but it plays with and is balanced by the grapefruit, and a sweet hint of mandarin-flavored candy. A very slight note of guava? Or white apricot? in the background mellows out this fruity funk.

Has a slight dryness, and I wish it had just a little more carbonation, but overall, a fun and enjoyable treat that is worth trying, and perfect in the heat of summer or after (or during) a long day of work in the garden

Draft at ME production facility. Hazy yellow pour, small, frothy white head. Fruity aroma, lots of citrus, light tropical notes. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple and tangerine, faint tropical flavors around the edges. Almost juicy. Very refreshing.

not to be confused with cosmic pyrokinesis, a project x release of past glory, this is a new one, currently flowing at their downtown location, which is where i hooked into a pint. this series is so good, so well dry hopped always, high saturation without vegetal bite, low bitterness but they still drink like ipa, not like juice boxes, and this is another high performer in the series, tropical to me, sunny and easy and smooth despite having some multigrain body, a little leftover sugar too, which i actually think flatters the hop profile. nose and flavor of juiced orange, lemongrass, green melon approaching ripeness, peaches and mangoes too, so bright and fresh, definitely got that brand new pristine hop character, some subtle dankness and some more uncommon notes as it warms from vanilla to white coconut flesh, enough malt to balance but it remains pale and somewhat foundational here, beachy and peachy both, but not out of place in winter time, rather taking me somewhere id rather be. it has some oils, saturates the palate, lingers a little, but its all in service of what i reckon is a fairly unique hop profile that may include some southern hemisphere elements or even hop products as this relative intensity, new school anyway, and it feels awesome, puffy and with spirited tiny bubble carbonation, i dont mind the bit of sweetness at all. the hops make this one, fruity and fun, even approachable too for its strength. i look forward to every release in this series, some of the best hazy beers available locally here for sure, and this one also bangs!
