12oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $2.19. Canned on January 20, 2025. Another old can at Hucks.

Poured into a 12oz mug, this was a hazy, yellow-gold color, with a half inch of white foam that dropped fairly quickly.

Some grassy and herbal smelling hop notes greeted the old schnozz.

Flavor was similar to the nose. Herbal and grassy hop flavor, mild bitterness. Finished clean but not crisp.

Body somewhere between light and medium. If there was any crispness to be found in the mouth feel, it has fled.

An okay pilsnerish lager that mightve been better when fresh. If I ever come across a fresh one, I'll revise this, but for now, I see no reason to have another.

a new one from these guys, packaged too, had it a couple of times already, once on tap and once from the can, both very good, and i think this is a nice addition to their lineup, smokes the mediocre golden ale they do, and its a league better than the mexican lager too, needed i think, and i bet it will do real well for them, i love the name too! really nice clarity and sparkle to this, high carbonation, fizzy with a delicate white head on it, polished and pure, lighter than many in terms of color depth, very fresh in the aroma but not from being overly hoppy like some are leaning these days, lots of biscuity character to the grain, more actually european authenticity to the malt than anticipated which to me is charming, lots of minerality and breadiness, bittering hops of noble lean, and a sort of wet stone thing to the lager yeast, familiar but very expressive in this, it comes together well. everything i can smell i can also taste, and then some, faint citrus, lawn clippings, and even spiciness from the hops, but not out of proportion at all, good pop of bitterness on the swallow. the malt and yeast play well together, very classic and a bit bold too for a beer designed for drinking, almost too much grain character when it warms some, not as neutral as i expected it to be and as some will prefer, but i like the more flavorful take personally. the carbonation is epic, really sings, lightens this a lot, a bit more from the can than from the tap but both are upbeat. this is a solid american made beer of old world appeal, light but not too light, will hit hard for summer, i expect this to be a strong seller and i expect to drink my share. well done.
