On tap at Mother Earth. A Double IPA with coffee. This is a collaboration with Automatic brewing.
A: Dark reddish orange with a finger of dense foam.
S: Earthy, nutty coffee with vibrant citrus notes and a whisper of chocolate. Tangerine and orange flesh are apparent.
T: Orange, grapefruit, and coffee. Interesting. I get earth, nuttiness, and a dash of chocolate as well. The beer is moderately bitter. Actually tastes pretty good. Odd, but good.
M: Medium body with upper medium carbonation.
Overall: Certainly a strange combination of flavors and aromas. The beer sounds like a wreck from the description but it's actually pretty good.
