This hop-forward ale features a dynamic blend of Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, and Vic Secret hops from Australia and New Zealand, paired with Pacific Northwest favorite Simcoe, creating an intense bouquet of pineapple, kiwi, and orange layered with pungent pine resin. Terpenes from our partners at Abstrax amplify the aroma with a distinct note of sticky cannabis, enhancing the dank, herbal complexity. Expect a smooth, rounded mouthfeel with soft carbonation, leading into a clean, slightly bitter finish marked by lingering notes of tropical fruit, resin, and subtle green earthiness. Canned 9/18/26. Into a tulip glass 6 weeks later. 1/2 -1 finger persistent white dense foam on top of opaque light yellow but orange-tinged liquid. No visible solids. Nice amount of lacing. Overall, a fine looking hazy. My sense of smell is terrible but this one whacked me in the nose with grapefruit- dominated citrus and a hint of orange blossom. Same flavor. Medium to heavy mouthfeel, mild carbonation. Really smooth/ highly drinkable. Not a unique flavor profile by any means, but a fine example of its type.

another solid beer in this series, this time simcoe, nelson, and galaxy, a fine combination, if a bit well worn at this point, a well made hazy at its core, nicely fluffy from the grain, some sweetness in it extending a modern fruity to tropical fruity hop profile, and its nice and fresh right now, a nice one for sure. dense and hazy enough to almost look like orange juice in the glass, heavy but still bright, nice head on it from the pint can too, pure white and lasting, no visible sediment or anything, just real sturdy, murky but attractive still, which is weird to type because those are usually mutually exclusive for me. its a gentler side of simcoe for being as bold as it is in overall hop dosage, in aroma and flavor both its less woodsy and high alpha, more grapefruit and tangerine and meyer lemon and fresh, not oily and palate burning, and amazing with the white wine and even mango notes of the nelson, as well as the key lime i get from the galaxy, and although yeah there is some generic grain sweetness in this, even almost lactose sweetness to me, like it hangs on the teeth and tongue, i think that element works really well with this hop bouquet, light vanilla accenting the fruitiness, almost a confectionary vibe when taken together, but still drinkable for what it is, smoothed out by starchy non barley grains, and with a light honey wrinkle and a little pop of late bitterness to make the ipa status known, but its not harsh or vegetal at all. this seems like a break from the terpene thing these guys seemed to be too into for a little while, back to just hops, and thats nice for this. long on the palate but id happily down several pints, nicely built and brand new and perfect right now, get on it! cool side of simcoe, great with the other varietals.
