On tap at La Sirena in South Laguna Beach. Brewer calls this an "Extra Pale Ale" and rates it at 48 IBUs. It's very hoppy and you could easily call it a Rye IPA.
Handsome orangey amber with a nice head in the big tulip. Sparkly and creamy mouthfeel, and a little oily. Warm and malty flavors.
Seriously hoppy without being undrinkably bitter. More on the piney side of the hop spectrum, with a touch of grapefruit peel. Tangy and plenty of bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant quaff with the spicy edge of rye.
