On tap at Black Sheep
A- pours nearly pitch black in color, small creamy off white head with short retention
S- fresh herbal/earthy coffee, cocoa, vanilla, wet oak, light bourbon
T- waves of espresso and mocha open up with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla, with some herbal/earthy coffee notes. Mid-palate brings light bourbon notes, along with vanilla & oak. The finish gives more rich coffee and chocolate, with light bourbon on the linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, slightly foamy mouthfeel and finish
O- an outstanding base beer is complimented nicely by the barrel treatment
