One of the best coffee stouts I've ever had. Strong coffee smell and taste. Also tasting some bitter chocolate and lots of roast. Good combo of each. The coffee stands out though. Great brew!!!

Pies and pints in Morgantown WV. Processing through Dave and Kellie moving. This beer SMELLS like coffee! YES! It is thin on the palate, however, the taste of coffee is nicely on top with this offering! Great job, Bridge Works! Leah did not like the cigarette after taste. Interesting, I say!

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a dark chocolate color capped by an inch of foam; pretty nice lacing action

Smell: Coffee aromatics dominate, with a touch of chocolate underneath

Taste: Coffee forward, with chocolate in the middle; just a little bitterness in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A really nice, toned-down version of many of the coffee stouts I have had; like the lower ABV without any surrendering of the flavor

Served on tap at the Irish Pub.

A- ours pitch black with a drank tan creamy head that reduces to leave solid latches of lace around the rim.

S- fresh ground coffee, the most authentic coffee smell I've seen in a while from a coffee stout. Some roasted and choclate notes as well but mostly pure coffee bliss.

T- fresh brewed coffee, some toasty malt character, a bit of dark chocolate finishes on the palate with the bitterness onf the coffee. It reminds me of a beer version of iced coffee.

M- medium body, low carbonation, a bit of creaminess but finishes a bit slick, would liked to have seen a little more creamy consistency on the finish

O- this is like drinking a cup of coffee, if you love coffee and stouts, you will love this beer. The coffee flavors and aromas are among the freshest that I've seen from a coffee stout. Another solid brew from the guys at Bridge Brew.
