16 ounce can into pint glass, unreadable can dating. Pours lightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, cardamom, rosemary, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, moderate pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, cardamom, rosemary, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and yeast/coriander spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, melon, red apple, coriander, cardamom, rosemary, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light banana/honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, moderate pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.6%. Overall this is a delicious witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, moderate pale/wheat malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Great balance between Wit yeast, spices, and pale/wheat malts; with solid earthy hop presence. Nothing overwhelming. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
