Poured into a pint glass at the River Rock in St. Louis, MI. Pours a dark amber with some mahogany edging, Slight brownish head melts into an oily amber sea. Moderate to low carbonation with spotty lacing.
Smells like caramel malts. Very sweet, but not too complex. Caramel, slight hops, and booze.
Tastes sweet up front with a syrup, caramel malt finish. Light hop in the faaar background.
Flat mouthfeel with no real activity. Sweet up front and sweet out the back. A little boozy.
One or two is probably enough.

Picked this bottle up two days ago at Siciliano's Market in Grand Rapids MI prior to Founder's KBS release.
The beer is not currently listed on the Mt. Pleasant site so I entered this as a winter seasonal (it could be a one-time release).
Pours a thin brown color into my Unibroue tulip glass. Forced pour created a thin, one-finger head that quickly resides to a thin film with nearly no lacing.
Light aroma of spice and sweetness.
Taste is more of a Belgian profile with spicy yeast characteristics. I'm not confident this one falls under the English Winter Warmer style. Perhaps a spiced winter ale is more appropriate, but not an official style.
Strong spicyness in the taste. My guess is the ABV is 7-8% on this one. The spice in the aroma really comes through with some swirling.
Mouthfeel is a tad lacking but the good taste makes up for it.
