On-tap at the brewery. Approximately 10 oz pour
A: Served with a small off-white head that faded to a ring in good time. Dark amber/copper in color. Decent lacing to be had.
S: Smokiness is first and foremost, although it isn't what I was expecting. Toasted malts are there in the background.
T: Smoked malt, toasted malts, with piney hops in the back and on the finish.
M: Light-medium body, good carbonation.
O: As my first smoked beer, it was a good experience. Smoke was in balance with malty flavors and hops to make a tasty and easy-drinking beer.
