On-tap at the brewery
A: Muddy brown in color with particles floating around. Extremely cloudy body.
S: Piney hops upfront. The hops smell quite fresh. Some dank hop notes in there as well. Definite maltiness.
T: Fresh tasting piney hops, some slightly grassy flavors, and a little trace of citrus peel round out the hop flavors. Huge biscuit and bready maltiness. Not really any roasted or dark malt qualities present.
M: Medium body, carbonation is pretty spot-on and makes for an easy drinker.
O: Solid beer, but they sort of missed the mark for a black ale by not including any dark roasted characteristics.
