Tasted like a fruity/sweet-veggie/pumpkin beer with some herbal aroma, rather than a pumpkin pie beer. You have to drink it cold, or it will taste noticeably salty. It tastes too fruity/"sweet-vegetabley". Pumpkin Swirl, a different beer which has lactose in it, brings home the almost-milky/almost-creamy taste you experience with real pumpkin pie. Regular pumpkin doesn't taste anything like pumpkin pie, and this beer has that regular pumpkin quality in the taste aspect. Some herbal-pumpkin smell, but smells like "herbal liqueur"--not pumpkin pie like at all. It looks beautifully deep amber and can create a nice head. Don't drink it warm, or you're basically drinking a salted, spiced pumpkin syrup. At least it doesn't taste like robitussin/medicine, as many other high alcohol pumpkin beers taste. "It's a no for me dawg." 3.5/5 if cold, 1/5 if room temperature (it's salty).
